We feel that it is very important to make the school experience available to as many interested students as possible,
and not just to those with fat wallets! In 2004 we began offering bursaries to students who competed at the end-of-school
competition. The bursaries were enthusiastically received, so they will be continued. In the future we would like to offer
scholarships as well, which will allow deserving students to attend the school. We are seeking sponsors to provide scholarships,
so if you or someone you know is interested, please contact us.
There are four bursaries available to be won at the 2005 summer school. Each is for $100, and can be used towards
tuition for future schools and workshops. The bursaries are awarded to the winners of the drumming competition, the junior
piping competition, the piobaireachd competition and the Seaforth Cup.
